On Oct. 29, the Bahá'í Chair for World Peace continued its Structural Racism and the Root Causes of Prejudice Series with remarks by Phillip J. Bowman, Ph.D. of the University of Michigan and John L. Jackson, Jr., Ph.D., of the University of Pennsylvania.
The Bahá’í Chair for World Peace presented the 2014 Fall Lecture, “Journeys to Justice: From Victim to Survivor,” featuring Lisa F. Jackson, documentary filmmaker, Emmy Award and Sundance Jury Prize winner.

This spring, the Bahá’í Chair for World Peace continues to bring together scholars and leaders from around the world to strengthen pathways to peace and diplomacy and to seek solutions to key challenges facing society. These include racial prejudice, climate change, and the challenges of globalization.
On Friday, Nov. 15, the Baha’i Chair for World Peace at the University of Maryland celebrated its 2013 Annual Lecture in the Biology Research Building’s lecture hall.

The Bahá’í Chair for World Peace published a new book entitled Vision and Prospects for World Peace on March 7. 2013.
